Fleet Management
Our simple black box which has weights and measures approval connects directly to the Electronic Meter on the truck using simple plug and play. This allows the Tablet device in the cab with the drivers orders to talk directly to and from the Electronic Meter in the truck. This means a 1 printer, one pass through of the docket for the driver making it very simple, efficient and reliable everytime.
How It Works
Loading the stock to the Meter from the Tablet:
The driver can select the stock button on the Tablet, the location where they are loading stock from and then select the pot they wish to add stock to. Once they confirm the pot number, they select the product and the quantity. They do this for each pot and when completed, the Tablet sends this information directly to the Electronic Meter through our black box over Bluetooth and loads the same stock onto the Electronic Meter.
Setting up the Delivery on the Meter from the Tablet:
Once the driver arrives at the customer site, they select the confirm button on the order for that customer on the Tablet. The Tablet then sends the information ( product, qty ) to the electronic meter through the black box over Bluetooth. The driver then pulls the hose to the tank, starts the process of filling the tank with the product. The driver can see on the Tablet the quantity being delivered as it counts up matching the Electronic Meter. Once the delivery has finished, the driver will print the Meter stamp by selecting Print on the Meter. The Meter will then tell the Tablet through the black box using Bluetooth the quantity, product, ticket number, pot/pots, allowing the Tablet to price the ticket automatically and print the footer. Once the driver gets back into the cab the full metered ticket is printed with (Customer details, Meter stamp and pricing and payment) all using the one printer (Epson TMU295) and one pass through. The driver brings the ticket to the customer, they sign the screen and the driver leaves the ticket with the customer and walks away with no paper. It’s that simple…
